Recreation and Socialization is provided to the Center's participants in accordance with the OoA standards and service descriptions. At least two activities are scheduled during each program day. These events and activities are tailored to meet the special needs of the Hispanic elderly residing in the larger community. While activities are recreational, many are also educational and designed to encourage the independence of the Hispanic elderly in a foreign culture, and to reach the varied educational levels of the center participants.
